Call Forwarding lets you redirect all your calls to where you will be. With Call Forwarding activated, your telephone no longer receives calls.
To activate Call Forwarding
- Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial *72 (1172 on rotary phone). Listen for three beeps followed by a dial tone.
- Dial the telephone number to which you want your calls forwarded and wait until someone answers. Stay on the line for at least five seconds before hanging up. Call Forwarding is now activated.
- If the line is busy or if there is no answer, just repeat the previous steps and hang up. Call Forwarding is activated even though there was no answer.
- If you dial a wrong number, press the receiver button briefly and start over.
To cancel Call Call Forwarding
- Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
- Dial *73 (1173 on rotary phone) and listen for two beeps.
- Hang up.
- Call Forwarding is now cancelled.
