Télébec once again lends its support to the telethon of Ressource d’aides et services pour personnes handicapées de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, to be aired January 26, 2003, in its sixth year.

To help the cause, Télébec has offered the use of its fibre optic circuits connecting Radio-Nord to Theâtre du Cuivre as well as to the telethon’s satellite equipment shelf in Val-d’Or. Thanks to Télébec, the telethon will be broadcast on Radio-Nord. In addition, telephone lines will be installed in the offices of Radio-Nord so donations can be called in, and other lines will be provided for organizers at Theâtre du Cuivre.

Télébec is proud to contribute to this humanitarian cause, because the utility believes that this initiative is a huge help in improving the quality of life of handicapped people living in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.
