Current and future users of Télébec Mobilité’s digital cell service in Abitibi-Témiscamingue will be very happy to learn that the Cablevision website is now accessible from the Mobile Browser. In other words, subscribers now have direct access from their keypads to a wide variety of useful regional information, including news, sports, weather, movie schedules and classified ads.

"We are really proud to offer our users access to the very first truly regional website via the Mobile Browser. Our digital cell subscribers can now check the movie schedule while dining at a restaurant, or find out the score of the most recent game of the Foreurs or the Huskies at any time of the day. It’s easy and fast," explains Nathalie Frackleton, General Manager – Product Management.

"We are also ready to include other regional websites in the Mobile Browser menu. Subscribers will no doubt be interested in accessing information about municipal activities, tourist attractions and major events as well as restaurant menus or other information of public interest. Companies and organizations or agencies need only propose their sites to us," says Natalie Frackleton.

In making information about Abitibi-Témiscamingue accessible from digital cell phones, Télébec Mobilité hopes to promote and encourage regional activities.
