Voice Mail Plus

Consult the Call Management Service User Guide for more details about the functionality of this option. You can print it if you wish. You need Acrobat Reader to open this document. You can also consult the instructions below.

The perfect complement to Voice Mail, the Télébec's Voice Mail Plus service offers you to screen your messages as they come in and choose to answer immediately, or to return the call later.

Here is how to intercept an incoming message

  1. After the short ring, pick up the receiver and listen.
  2. To speak to the caller, press the switch hook, Link or flash button.
  3. Or, hang up and let the service take the message.

Pager Notification option

You can have your pager notify you when a message is deposited in your voice mailbox, by displaying the Message Pick Up Number. You can also program a schedule during which you wish that your pager be connected to your vocal mailbox.

To program or change the message notification schedule:

If you are at home, you can turn on an option to skip your password, when checking your voice mail. A real time-saver. Voice mail privacy is no longer assured, however, since anyone in the house will be able to listen to the messages. Télébec cannot be held liable with respect to the use of this option.

    To turn on this option:

  1. Enter *98 or *99, depending on your area, followed by your password.
